Pediatric Ophthalmology & the Center for Adult Strabismus, announce the retirement of Dr. Priscilla Berry

Dr. Priscilla Berry has announced her plan to retire on September 1, 2011 after more than 35 years of service as a dedicated pediatric ophthalmologist.  She has been active in community service having provided volunteer services at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children for twenty-eight years.  Research has been an important part of her work and she participated in the nationwide Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group research studies.  Her areas of special interest were diagnosis and treatment of amblyopia (lazy eye, reduced vision in one eye)  and strabismus (misaligned eyes). Dr. Berry enjoyed the opportunity to interact with all the children and their families and conveys deep gratitude for allowing her to participate in their medical care.

“It has been a pleasure in participating in the care of your child. I thank you for the opportunity and wish you and your family all the best in the coming years.”
~Priscilla Berry, M.D.
